Claude Code Commands:
/clear : Clear conversation history
/compact : Summarize conversation history
/config : Settings
/context : See how much of the context window has been used
/doctor : Checks health of installation
/exit : Stop Claude
/export fileName : Creates file with the conversation history
/help : List available commands
/init : New project, creates CLAUDE.md file
/model : View and change default model
/plan : Enter plan mode – Claude will outline steps before executing
/status : Lists version, session ID, etc.
Shortcuts:
Ctrl + A : Go to start of line
Ctrl + B : Push currently running task to the background
Ctrl + C : Cancel current generation
Ctrl + E : Go to end of line
From Command Line:
claude -c : Resume previous session
claude -v : Get Claude version number
claude update : Force update to latest version
